Curt Equi

I’m Curt, and I’m the husband and father of the Equi Family in Abington-Jenkintown.

You may also see a little cartoon version of me running around the web from time to time. This started out as just a fun thing to include in the employee directory and on my Zoom profile while I was working at VMware. At the time, they had an internal tool to do something similar, but I couldn’t get it to be quite right. So I went to charactercreator.org and between that and a little tweaking in Illustrator, I wound up with this. At this point, I think that people may know me more by my cartoon stand-in than by my real how I look in real life!

During the weekdays, I work for Intel Corp., the company that in all likelihood is powering your laptop and many of the cloud-based services you use.

If you want to see my full CV, check me out on LinkedIn. (https://www.linkedin.com/in/cgequi/)

While Intel is known for their hardware, I am helping them take their extensive portfolio of software assets and turn those into another profitable line of business.  Yes, it’s still part of that “cloud” thing I’ve been doing for years.

But you probably know Intel from the dancing clean-room “bunny suit” guys from the 90s…

…and our “B-o-o-o-o-n-g….! Do-Do-Do-Do” sound (a.k.a. the Intel “Bong”, which is actually pretty famous believe it or not!)

On my nights and weekends, I care for my family, work on our century-old home(s), play a little Ultimate Frisbee, watch the Flyers / Eagles / Phillies depending on the season, and, worship, pray, and serve where I can.
